We’ve been really busy the past couple weeks, and there’s a lot of news to share.  Painbridge Records has signed three more bands, and there’s a lot of new music to be released within the next few months.

Philly punk bands Gaston and The Sniffles are currently recording some new songs for a split 7”, to be released mid-late April.

The Sniffles is a good old-fashioned alt-punk band with immensely catchy hooks and deceptively powerful vocals.  These three dudes from Fishtown have fast riffs and breakdowns that will put you at ease, all while creating a sense of nostalgia and sincerity. 

Gaston draws influence from Lagwagon, Descendents, and Jawbreaker, creating a sound that’s super fast and rhythmically exhilarating.  It’s the brand of stuff you grew up on, taking pop punk of the 90’s and bringing into 2012.

Teen Demon is the duo of Randolph Riback and Chris Brignola, a rhythmic and devastatingly pure brand of hardcore punk that contains both thrashing riffs and catchy melodies.  It’s a balance of harshness and refinement that results in raw and minimalist, yet powerful music.

They’re a really rad band from Brooklyn, and I have the pleasure of releasing two of their digital EP’s, with much more to come.  Both records will be available soon through the Painbridge store.
